Rating does not really apply in my case. I have had my blue lakelites for several years but they finally stopped working. I thought it might be that the batteries just would not take a charge any more so I ordered new ones but the lights appear to just not ...

Duane,

Sometimes the positive and negative wires can get pulled out of the white connectors on the light when chaning the battery out. Try cutting the connectors off and hard wiring the red to red and black to black. Use black elctrical tape to keep the wires from touching.

Replacement battery took 10 days to arrive to British Columbia. In new condition, initially needed charging which should be noted for customers. I almost gave up on the light until I exposed the light to the sun for 12 hours. Works great now.
