The regulator includes a heavy-duty waterproof male-female connector system designed for seamless integration with solar panels featuring HD wiring. While this unit is compatible with older solar panels manufactured in 2019 or prior, the existing wiring must be upgraded to the new black HD wiring configuration to accommodate the updated connector style.
