Not
illuminating at night:
This
could be the result of several scenarios: Below is a list of the most
likely problems.
Battery
Issues:
- Battery
requires a charge. The Solar Dock Lite requires sunlight to charge the
internal battery. Make sure you battery is charged by placing the Solar
Dock Lite in sunlight.
- Battery
may have fallen out or is not securely in place.
- Battery
is dead. Replace with new batter.
LED
Issues:
- LED
may have fallen out or is not securely in place
- LED
may be plugged in backwards. It only operates in one way. Try reversing
the two wire leads and placing it back into the socket. Note:
battery must have charge and LED is activated by darkness. Review our
Changing LED directions.
Water
Damage :
- Lake
Lite Inc. Does NOT warrant any water damage to the Solar Dock Lite.
This is the result of the light and or electronic components being submerged
in water. This will not happen with appropriate use and is usually the
case of dropping the solar top or light in the lake. Many times the
light can be saved by following a few
good tips.
