I accidently dropped my light in the water:

I accidently dropped my light in the water. What should I do? There are seveal things your should do immediatly to try and save your light. In some cases the electronics portion of the light does not get wet however it is extremly important to follow the below steps to try and save your light.

  1. REMOVE LIGHT FROM WATER AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE!
  2. Remove the battery by cutting the zip-strip if in place.
  3. Immediatly dry any water off the electronics.
  4. Dry any water from all other components. Dissasimble is to dry if necessary.

IF THE ELCTRONICS WERE SUBJECT TO WATER PLEASE CONTINUE TO BELOW STEPS!!

  1. You will need to dissasemble the circuit board by unscrewing the two side screws.
  2. Dry any water off the circuit board.
  3. Use hair dryer to dry any circuitry. (this is important to fully dry any water or moisture that may lead to rusting, make sure to fully dry the LED sockets in this mannor.)
  4. Check solar top to see if any water is between the plastic and the solar panel. If so you will want to remove the solar panel. This requires an exactor or razor knife to remove the glue holding it in place. Dry solar panel before placing back into position.
  5. Reassemble the solar light.
  6. We highly recommend replacing the battery as it will most likely rust and corrode!
